There are many of these bees in my yard. This particular fellow is on a big Mexican Sunflower.

What kind of bee is this?

That is a cute bumble bee. I love them, i think the most fascinating thing is with the size and shape of there body its supposed to be impossible for them to fly but they do any way and quite well i might add.
