Bee ID Needed

Pocahontas, TN(Zone 7b)

This morning a swarm of these bees came calling. Can anyone tell me their name so I can research them.

Thanks in advance for your time.

PS They look like Bumble Bees but if so they are minis ... baby Bumbles or another type?

Judy,

Just looked at your pic of the flower and bee. Your bee looks similar to the bees in my yard (see my post after your asking for an ID also).

Tell me what you think. I have not had any responses to my Insect ID question as of this time today.

I'm sure someone will come along and let us know, folks at DG are really good about helping if they can. Right now I'm thinking they are baby Bumble Bees since we live in the woods.

It might be Bombus impatiens - see ttp://preview.tinyurl.com/lhmov8 for an image. BTW, 'baby bumble bees' would be legless larvae; bees do not grow after attaining adult form.
