Morning everyone..
New thread time...just in time to show you what my DH did to my car. He had his saw out in the driveway building something and a piece of wood jumped back and hit my car (which he did NOT move before he started) . It made my stomach hurt to see it but its a small dent so hopefully wont be too hard to get fixed.
I sure had a hard time sleeping last night, was up until 4am, reading and finally fell asleep. Course I woke up at 8, so am wondering how far I can go on 4 hours of sleep.
Bonnie, I sure hope your mother gets settled okay at your place. I can only imagine how stressful this must be to you..maybe you should see about getting a massage to relax you. I am not that far away that I cant get into my dented little car and drive down there if you need some help. I really had to laugh at your comment about the Catholic grammar school..you are a hoot, gf.
Debbie, glad to hear you had a good time with Shannon at the concert, did you decide to keep her home for this semester? I dont think I read one way or the other what you were going to do about that nasty situation she was in...thats really not the way she wanted to be starting college, I am sure.
SusanKC, I hope you are feeling better this morning..to get hit in a parking lot is just unbelievable. Then to find out there will be no charges, I certainly hope her insurance will be paying for all your expenses.
Vicky, was it you that posted the sunflower pictures? I now have sunflower envy. I really wish I lived somewhere that was more conducive to gardening. I love to garden but here in Texas, its just so frustrating that it takes all the fun out of it.
Adina, thats quite a bucket full of those datura seed pods. I grew them one year also, and unline you, I didnt get all the pods picked, I had datura plants everywhere the next year. Luckily they didnt last more than the second year.
Tammy, congratulations on the new job..did I read that you will be working from home? My DD does that and loves it...says her commute is from the bed to the computer chair.
elsie, I have to agree with Bonnie about your place of business being in the Bermuda triangle. I have never heard of such goings on from electronics as you have going at your place. Must keep everyone on their toes.
Sandy, how are you and Andre doing these days? Please forgive my swiss cheese brain, I read things but most certainly most of the info just falls right out the other side of the brain, I think.
Do we have any friends here that live in the Seattle area? I am planning a trip there in Oct. and maybe we could meet while I am there. I think most are from the east side of the country, maybe I will have to plan a trip that way someday.
To those I forgot, please believe it was not intentional..need more coffee I guess..going to need a lot to stay awake today.
We are having a cook-out next door at DS and DD's place tomorrow...y'all come..
Kris
