Pretty! Are the leaves heart-shaped? If so, it looks like Pink Flaked Ipomoea purpurea to me! Future blooms should throw some more color in with the white! Very nice! :-)

I looked it up in PlantFiles and was surprised that I am the only one who has posted any photos to that entry! Feel free to add a photo of yours if you get some that show more of the pink. :-)

Yep! Definitely Pink Flaked I. purpurea! Lovely bloom and photo!

You can add it to the Pink Flaked I. purpurea PlantFiles entry if you are so inclined. Thanks for posting your two lovely photos and be sure to collect the seeds when the pods ripen. I am sure you will want to grow tehm again and trade seeds with others! :-)

im sorry but I never added a picture to plant files and can not find out where

Baton Rouge area, LA(Zone 8b)

If you want to(I`m just trying to help)click on the link Becky posted, scroll to the bottom to "Your Actions" click on where it says "upload an image of this plant". It is exactly the same as loading a image on the boards, not a big deal either except it might take up to a week for it to show up since they have to view and approve them. Karen
