I cannot be at all certain on this one, it might be a female blue dasher (Pachydiplax longipennis; Odonata: Libellulidae) - see http://tinyurl.com/m9c4bd for an example.
suunto, I'll ck it out but I do remember the blue.
i will leave this thread open since I'm not sure yet as to whether it's a blue dasher.
I still think that this is the best fit for your specimen. Please bear in mind that this species, like many others, can be quite variable in color pattern. See http://tinyurl.com/ygq2229 for some examples.
