I believe this is a wolf spider with babies clinging to her back for dear life. Previous post classified a like spider as a wolf. She was desperately trying to keep her babies and self afloat in our pool. No telling how they ended up in there. After getting the shot, I swept them all up and deposited in a safe corner of my yard so the story has a happy ending.
Great picture! I would also have to take pity on the loving mama spider.
