CLOSED: WHAT CAT IS THIS?

Orange Park, FL

Can anyone ID the caterpillar, moth, butterfly? I happened across this brute devouring an unripe tomato this morning. He blends with the vine exceptionally well. He has an appendage like a stinger at his rear. He's quite a beauty.

Thanks irisloverdee. That's disappointing, I was hoping for some kind of brillaint butterfly. He's still there this morning and has this "Captain Morgan" kind of pose on the plant. And you're right, he's pretty much ate it to the nub. Sigh.

Tomato hornworms are the catapiller for Sphinx moths.
