I keep finding these on my cone flowers. Is it a ladybug?

BTW, I don't recommend using insecticides, that stuff can kill beneficial insects, not to mention possible harm to self either short or long term. I've attracted yellow jackets to a watering hole, it was just honey bees, but now has yellow jackets, and they are constantly scouring the plants and walk way for insects.
