Groundhogs How to get Rid Of Them????????

Can anyone tell me how to get rid of groundhogs? They are eating all my garden up. No Tomatoes, No Green Beans, I mean everything.

Things I've heard (besides moving LOL)
Put out water bowls so they can get water besides eating your veg.
Put dog feces in the burrow
Grow buckwheat- they like it best.
Fencing which extends below the soil and 3 feet above ground with a flop toward the outside so they can't scale over it.
Put dog hair from brushing around the garden.
Lethal weapons.
Trapping with cantaloupe as bait.
Get a dog. Maybe having the dog is what makes #2 and #5 seem to work.

I agree with Sally on getting a dog. People I know who've had groundhogs/gophers say that works best. I was looking at a couple of other products and found Shake Away. It contains fox urine. A groundhog is said to stay away from areas that a fox frequents.
