The other day I was collecting seeds from my morning glory. When I looked into my hand of seeds I saw this tiny gold bug. I thought it was a piece of gold paper or something other than a living creature. As I went to look at it closer, it flew away.
It was about 1/4 inch big and from what I remember sort of a beetle shape. It flew off so quickly that I barely got a chance to see much of it. It was brilliant and shiny and very bright gold like a coin. Never saw anything like it before.
It flew away, and I don't have a picture of it. Hopefully, someone can point me toward a picture of it.
CLOSED: A gold bug
Is this your beetle?

yes, isn't it beautiful! I couldn't believe how brilliantly it was colored.
They are neat. We have a tiny gold fly that makes an appearance at least once a week. They look fake, they're so brighly colored.
