Spider? sorry no pic

Sorry I didnt catch a picture of this thing but I will describe it as best I can. This creature looked like it might be related to a spider or maybe a spider itself, it was small, maybe about the size of a 25 cent quarter. it was an opaque brown color, with a darker brown segmented or striped skinny and sort of long abdomen. I would have figured it to be a spider if it werent for that it runs around with two long "arms" in the air. I have never seen one of these before but for some reason I saw two today. If you think you might know what it is please post a picture and its name and I will tell you if that is what I saw.

It my be a solfugid - sometimes called a solpugid; aka sun spider or wind scorpion - try searching on those terms.
