this seems to be a cricket but i cant find it in the usual database
any help would be greatly appreciated

This appears to be a red-headed bush cricket, Phyllopalpus pulchellus (Orthoptera: Gryllidae; subfamily Trigonidiinae) - see http://tinyurl.com/m3v9l5
