This looks similar to a fuzzy-wuzzy caterpillar, but was a bit more exotic. Any ideas?
CLOSED: Odd Loocking Caterpiller
This appears to be a somewhat damaged specimen of a milkweed tussock moth caterpillar (Euchaetes egle; Lepidoptera: Arctiidae) - see http://tinyurl.com/ndr4tr
My daughter stomped on this specimen right before I got my camera.
Interestingly, I saw the moth of this species right nearby as well (I think)
