You share the same birthday with my husband ... he turned the big 60 yesterday, and likes to tease me about being 1 1/2 years older than him!

Zozzl, I just hate to tell people it is my birthday because I just don't want to 'rub it in' that I am so much younger than everyone else!! That is, of course, one big lie!!!

At this age as you know, I am just grateful to be anywhere!! Happy Birthday to you husband, Lin!

I just saw this thread myself!!

I just have to share a picture of a birthday present from my youngest grandchildren. (This particular daughter always sends me what I love the best.............all kinds of pampering creams and lotions, soaps, etc.) The grandchildren spent 10 minutes their mom said picking out the right fragrance of hand sanitizers (the childrens' idea for me).
When these grands called yesterday, they each explained why the picked each hand sanitizer and were so proud.

Doesn't that make you feel so special and proud that they did that? That is a gift in its self! You have been blessed with a wonderful family, Gail.

I also love their mom for taking the time to let them smell every possible sanitizer in the store!!!!
These are the gifts a grandmother never forgets!! They even explained to me why I got two blue ones.....one for my purse and one for the table beside the chair where I sit!!!

The gifts are so nice and useful. I love the fact that they took so much time to pick each one. Very sweet.

OH, Sally. Their mom picked out the 'good stuff'...............their gift were the sanitizers but was so sweet for their mom to include them and let them choose what they wanted. I always keep my guest bath full of everything a guest could possibly use and my kids know that and enjoy them when they are home. I have everything from toothpaste, toothbrushes, razors for both men and women, every kind of facial cleanser and moisturizer, etc. I hate having to pack those things when I leave home. (My kids do the same thing at their homes). The shower looks like a spa with all kinds of soap, shampoo, etc...........

OH Happy Birthday Gail , I hope you had a lovely day , I didn't know it was your birthday but then I don't know when anyone here has a birthday till I see it posted ..............................Happy Happy Birthday to a delightfully sweet lady :)

What a nice treat to see you posting, Jim and Anna. Yes, I love my grands...........all 5 of them! I have given up on my 37 year old baby son even getting married......let alone have children. He has a serious girlfriend so who knows down the line what will happen!!! (smiling)

One of these days I will tell you about my gift from the older grands.......another story......another day....but very funny, too!!

Gail, the little one is called Taffy Bon Bon. She came to me in bloom, so I cannot take credit for her beautiful flowers.
