Happy Birthday Sis. Love from all of us in OR. I know my BIL will treat you to a super day!!
The girls wanted to wish you Happy Birthday too.
Happy Birthday KaperC
Happy Birthday, K.....hope you have something nice planned for the day.
Happy Birthday ! :) Have a great one!
Thank you, thank you, everyone! What beautiful photos! Give the girls a cuddle for me, Sis! Pirl, I so appreciate your visit to wish me well.
The day started out great. I did make my own breakfast, but from choice, not necessity (DH does eggs, not pancakes!). We had mimosas in the screened room and stayed outside until the heat got to be too much. DSS called from England to wish me a happy day - he is so sweet. Tomorrow we're going to the zoo - they have a new free flight bird show I want to see - I'm familiar with the trainer and looking forward to seeing those macaws flying overhead! The rest of the day I am to be waited on hand and foot. gggg
"Hand and foot" - I'm jealous!
ROFL Kell! Thanks very much.
Sounds like good advice to me!! LOL
I agree! Oh, excuse me, my lunch was just served, must go. :-)
Happy birthday, Kathleen. Hope it was great!
YAY, another birthday, girl!! I trust you enjoyed being waited on hand and foot. What a birthday present! WOW!
Linda
HAppy Belated birthday Kathleen I hope it was as wonderful as you are :o)
Wow, Catherine, they are growing!
Marie, you are too sweet. Thanks, Linda and Quyen!
Went to the zoo today. We got there just after opening, nice and cool with the marine layer. We spent most of our time in the three aviaries. The bird show was too late in the afternoon to hang around, so we went hat shopping at the harbor and then to lunch. We each got new hats! It was a great day. Hope some of the photos came out.
Some photos from our trip to the zoo - there is one gem in here you might find funny. Hope this link works!

I love the video of you bowing to each other.
That was fast! That bird was hilarious. DH said I was a good sport - I couldn't care less what people think! LOL
Those are great photos! And I loved the video too! You make me want to go back. I didn't get to see the Macaw show, but I got to hear and see them get ready to be let out, boy do they know they are going to do a show! And then I practically cried when they all went flying right by me to get to their gig!!
I always got chills when we saw the bird show at the Wild Animal Park (we'll go back there when it's cooler!). Now we have one that flies over our heads in the house. LOL Not quite the same, though.
Great video---I think you had an admirer!
I feel bad that I missed your Birthday, duh!
Well, I did send you blue flowers. Even if I wasn't paying attention earlier.
I don't know if I showed you this one. The birds must of brought it in, because I didn't plant it.
So have a Birthday Surprise!
After viewing your video, I figure that you had a good day!
May your garden continue to prosper!
May your feathered friends continue to visit!
May you always be surrounded by good friends and family!
May you always Walk In Beauty!
~Hugs~

Awww...thanks, SW.
Great pictures Kathleen. Loved the video too.
Goodnite and goodbye,
D.
Funny thing about that video - when DH watches it on his computer, he only gets half of the birds call. The bird is actually saying "oo-oo" - DH only gets "oo!" It's a shame, because the sound is so deep and as if it's coming from a drum - well, looking at his/her chest, it is!
Bon Voyage, Donna!
Safe journey, and swift return, Donna!
WIB!

Mom loved the video Sis. We had a good laugh this morning.
Good! I thought she would like it. I'm wondering if the bird is used to staff with hats coming in to feed them - we didn't see that behavior with anyone else.
Thanks, DP, it was great!
