Hi, everybody,

I'm new at grafting. I have many persimmon trees and would like to graft from their budwood. Has anyone here used the grafting tool seen here? (BTW, this was the first picture I found when googling for the tool and I have no interest in the company selling it.)

In your experience, is the chances of "taking" better using this?

I have seen a Master Grafter use this kind of tool.. and I think it might make your grafting easier.. just by making everything fit together perfectly.

You might post this over on Fruits and Nuts.. Lots of experts on grafting over there.
