I hate this job. but my wild blue vines all got rust. its sorta at end of season for some anyway. so i ripped them all out except one. didnt want the rust to get on the others.

i feel bad pulling such beauties up but dont want the rest sick. 5 total so far. sappy had to take bath agian.

i got them before they seeded so maybe wont have so many volunteers next year. just sad to have to kill a plant. dont like pulling weeds either as they plants to but know its necessary.

I have never seen rust here in the UK..except on mint

Perhaps a good systemic fungicide will sort it out.

Maybe try at 1/4 the normal dose through out the growing season next year.
