morning glory bush question

ok i have a morning glory bush. It opens late at night like 10 or so. pink flowers stays open till around lunch time.

now i have seen a couple on here pictures taken in the full sun.

so are there two different types of morning glory bushes/trees

I have grown this plant for many years and mine open in the morning and stay open all day and sometimes into the night. One of my plants reached 16', but usually they grow to between 9' to 12' for me.

these open at night and only open at night. the ones from last night are already wilted with the sun.


how strange it looks like it but the difference is they open at night.

I love the colour of your's Emma from here; http://davesgarden.com/community/forums/t/1031248/ do you think are these a sub-species as mine was a like pink almost a white but yours and the one from flower pictures look sugar pink, I will look for a source of seed

Emma's bloom's look a lot bigger and a different colour you must take very good care of them, I could only get 2 blooms!!

ok so its i carnea and a friend said they will change habits do to conditions. and will open at night for moths. so mine is a night bloomer which is ok by me as not enough blooms at night anyway.
