Good Site! I learned quite a bit. I do not know what size scope he used but its a Leica ($1,300 to $4,000). But he used an inexpensive camera which produced pretty good detail. The camera settings page I liked the most with the Bald Eagle picture's using just about every setting the camera has.
I like the Bald Eagle page too, but I still don't understand the ISO stuff and F-stops. I'm going to do the "focus through the scope" method and then just experiment until I can take pictures, hopeflly near as good as the ones I saw. I thought they were awesome.
Burd, my biggest problem was holding the dang camera in such as way as to actually be able to make the picture.
I'm thinking my set-up from Vortex will be the "cat's meow". I've ordered all of it and am just waiting for it to arrive.
