Please help id this cat. It hitchhiked!

My MIL gave me several plants and today I found that a cat. was on a plant that I do not know what it is either! I have several pics.

AmieG, what plant is that that your caterpillar is feasting on? Sometimes, if the plant is the hostplant to certain type of caterpillars.

I don't know! This is what is so frustrating! My MIL gave me several plants a couple of months ago and this is one of them that I have not a clue as to what it is! Do you want me to post pics of the plant in the plant id forum?

Okay,

This cat is still on this plant and actually devouring it. It seems there is another little bugger that is growing there as well. I will post some pics of the plant in the other forum to try to figure out what in the world this caterpillar is!

A clearer view of the caterpillar itself might help as well. There are several species of leaf-rolling/leaf-tying caterpillars that can be similar in appearance.
