Bingo Calls 3

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

Oh, Gail, that reminds me . . . I need to get a copy of the "what judges look for" booklet . . . I am going to take the judging school at the state show in November . . .

Andalusia, AL(Zone 8b)

Gail, when your done reading your new book, please put me on the list to read.Thanks.LOL.Your car won't start falling apart till it gets as old as mine,15 years old with 175,000 miles.LOL.LOL

Good for you Nichole! Learning to be a judge is awesome.Maybe you can tell me how to make a AV grow symmetrical(sp)?

opps,really got of the bingo topic,sorry ^_^

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

I am hoping that I will learn how to grow things symmetrical!

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I am going to take that course at the state convention, too......Nichole
Also want to hear Danny speak about growing avs.
I can't make an african violet look good and grow symmetrically hard as i try!

Jan, are you sure it is a good idea to keep putting money in a 15 year old car........I worry about you!! You are going to get stuck on the side of the road again!!

First cup of coffee..have to wake up....

MSU, MS(Zone 8a)

My car is only 10 years old so I feel left out:)

Pat

Palm Bay, FL(Zone 9b)

on list at top: #52 is not marked as called
#52 Kohleria Amanda's Penny - called on August 25th.

I thought I had mis-marked it on my list.

You are messing with my head. LOL

Land of OZ, CT(Zone 6a)

My car will be 15 in January--has < 100,000 mi on it. It has given me very little trouble. It has this one quirk--every once in awhile, usually at the post office for some reason, it just won't start. The engine turns over, but won't catch. After 5-30 minutes, and several tries, it starts normally, and runs fine till the next time....which could be in weeks or months. Once I had it towed, and almost had a $500+ repair done, only to have it start right up, so the mechanic did not know what to repair! It's been looked at by several mechanics--no one can figure it out, so I live with it! LOL

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

I will wait until Nichole comes around and reads the posts about Amanda Penny.........thanks for catching it, Imadigger.

I intend to keep my car another 6 years if she will go that far with me........

Whitsett, NC(Zone 8a)

Ha! None of the three calls were marked off for that day! I was testing you! (yeah, that's it, I was testing you . . . )

I'm down to needing 3 more.it's going to be a fast paced ending to this great game.

What a nice thing david thompson did to name a strep after his brother and a beautiful one too.

Taft, TX(Zone 9a)

Isn' t that nice.......and I think Remembering John is one of his very best streps!!

Northeast, MO(Zone 5b)

If I didn't miscount, I was one of the two that needed 6 more earlier. As Nichole said, it is anyone's game right now. I missed several on my list after that and now I have 2 left to go.

That is very interesting about the name and a very thoughtful thing to do. I ended up ordering one because it is also my husband's name. Don't know what I am doing but I have one now :)

Good luck everyone on the final calls!

Connie
