What do helenium seeds look like?

Can't find a pic anywhere. Are they the hundreds of little "sticks" attached to the little hard ball at the center?

I've planted them but they had chaff etc., so I really don't remember, but Prairie Moon has pics:

Thanks for the link, claypa! However, those didn't look quite like anything I could find on the dried flower head of my "mardi gras", so I don't quite trust that I have the answer yet. I might just have to see if I can sprout them.

Thank you again, Jonna! It does look like those little sticks that attach temselves to the hard round center are the seeds.
