It's time for me to start picking my pole beans but I want to save a lot of them for seed. What's the best way for me to tag or mark them so that the rest of my family knows not to pick THAT bean? Can you use a Sharpie to mark them??? Does anyone here mark their veggies they're saving for seed?

Use a paint pen and color part of the bean.
