Hi,
I live in the very northwest corner of arkansas,
and i found a spider the other day that i cant seem to identify anywhere.
It was a dewey morning, and on the side of a trashcan, i saw a spider,
its body, and legs, were bright bright orange.
It's body was roughly the size of a pea,
but each of its legs were 2-3 inches long.
(so it resembled a daddy long-leg, with a substantially bigger body).
The creepiest thing about this spider, as you can see from the picture, is that its "fangs" were roughly 1/3 the size of its body! they were huge and could easily be seen with the naked eye even from 2-3 feet away as i took the picture.
Please help me identify this creepy thing!!

Northwest Arkansas - Orange Spider, Long Legs, Tiny Body
This is a so-called 'daddy long-legs,' an arachnid in the order Opiliones - see http://tinyurl.com/nul2ad for some examples. They all are harmless to humans.
