Shared this photo with a friend who thought it was a Pandora's Sphinx moth? Nope, but it is not a green grasshopper either..... anyone know this guy's specific name?

I just think he's kinda handsome. ;-)

Why, he kind of likes that! lolol. someone else said "what, 'it's a grasshopper' isn't good enough?"

He is a comedian by proxy, as well as being handsome, I perceive.

So someone said this: Two-striped Grasshopper - Melanoplus bivittatus

I dunno...... I kinda think Gordon is handsomer.

Perhaps that is a picture of Peter...Gordon was always the better looking of the two....grin

*snort*

Okay, y'all, so much for science. Someone else said it is named Catfood.

I would close the thread, but heck, Gordon Catfood might have other monikers, waiting in the wings, so to speak.....

If he were here he would join the giant lubbers and his name would be : Soontabe Prunerfodder.

OMG I am so slow on the uptake, themoon, I kept going, "Soon Tayb? Soon Tayb? What on earth????"

hahahahaha soon to be pruner fodder hahaha

anyway I decided he is whiter in the light parts than the picture of the two striped hoobiejigger, cause he is real old.

just a guess.

still not sure.

Ya like that one....grin that is in case he is an Asian/British cross....grin

When Suunto logs in he will be able to tell you with certainty who your buzz-click little friend is. He is a retired entomologist, and has probably forgotten more about bugs than I ever knew...grin

Okay, we will keep Gordon Catfood aka Soontabe Prunerfodder active at least cyberly, until such time.
