I found this spider overtop of my pond spinning a web and I can't seem to figure out what kind it is. Someone please help!

No, it doesn't look like that. It's really strange. I have looked at a ton of pictures on google trying to find it and I am having no luck.
Your spider definitely is a long-jawed orb weaver (family Tetragnathidae). This is a very large family,not all members of which look alike - see http://tinyurl.com/lcwe4w for some examples - so your chances of finding an exact match on a blind Google search are pretty slim. Spiders in this family, especially those in the genus Tetragnatha, frequently build their webs over small bodies of water.
