Don't know much about lilies

Belleville, IL(Zone 6b)

I have a lily in my yard and I have no idea where it came from.
Last year was the first time it appeared and it was about two feet tall. It made a nice bunch of seeds which I just tossed into a pot and forgot about. They actually germinated this spring and seems like they all are doing well, though not being looked after at all.
I wonder if anyone can identify this lily. It is taller than my six foot privacy fence.

Another picture a fews days later showing the blooms open. I can't get close enough to smell them and see if there is a scent to them.

Whatever it is, it's lovely. It doesn't look like most of the white trumpet ones I'm familiar with. Hopefully someone will ID it for you.

lilium formosum???

lilium formosum is my guess as well. It blooms very late in the season and has flower form just like that.

Thanks everyone for the help. I will now go to google and plantfiles and read about it.
