I went to Wal-Mart today and found that they had 8-quart bags of seed-starter mix (Better Homes & Garden brand).

It was marked down from $2.50 to $0.50! I bought every one of the bags that they had!

Isn't it great when you hit the seasonal clearance like that! Our Wal-mart's garden stuff is long gone. They make way for the Christmas goodies in early October. Last year I cleaned house on concrete stepping stones though ~ 50-cents each. You just gotta be in the right place at the right time.
