CLOSED: strange beetle, termite like insect in room

I'm not sure what this is. Found late at night in Austin, TX in my room. It seemed to be afraid of the light.

This insect is in the order Embioptera, possibly in the family Oligotomidae - see http://tinyurl.com/o6pnto for an example. Known as webspinners, they have silk-producing glands in their front legs. They are not pests but are completely harmless; see http://tinyurl.com/kqo9wk for more information.
