somethiing to think about

My grandson had a birthday party at Burger King. When I went to the bathromm to wash my hands the water was timed to stay on a for a certain time. When I went to the drink dispenser it would run as long as the button was held down. What is cheaper water or coke? I found this amusing.

Maybe they're conserving the water to add to the syrup base for colas....hmmmm?

Well, that's a new twist on the economic concept I learned as the "diamond/water paradox".

If you've never heard of it, here it is in a nutshell: diamonds are not required for survival of the human race, and for all intents and purposes, pretty useless. But incredibly expensive.

Water, on the other hand, is something we cannot survive without, and yet it's typically one of the cheapest commodities around.

LOL! I see your point but if you have ever entered a puplic rest room where some one has plugged the sink and left the water running you would know what a mess it can be and the damage it can cause! The sodas are usually in a highly visable location but the bathrooms are out of sight.

Terry I too heard that diamonds were actually worth nothing at all!! Funny that. Water, precious commodity!

Sure can't cook them or take them with ya,lol'':D
