Sending flowers to Jannich this afternoon!

Jannich is very sick and in the hospital. She had been on an antibiotic for over a week for a serious lung infection. The last I heard from her was in the middle of the night yesterday. I had been calling her house to no answer or machine and became very worried.

The phone just rang and she sounded so weak. She wanted me to know where she was and would be there for a few days. She is in the Andalusia Regional Hospital. (i wouldn't call as I talked for less than a minute when she sounded so weak)

I am phoning in a big bouquet of flowers. Called the hospital and got a florist's name. If you want your name added on the card, please tell me.

Will wait for a few hours before I place the order of flowers for her to see how many of you want your name on them.

Me too! I and my family are praying for Jan. I have had the privilege of meeting her in person, and you simply couldn't ask for a sweeter lady to spend time with!

Get better soon, Jan! We love you! (I know she can't read this right now, but I'm telling her anyway!)

This is not a good day at all . . . my sister just called and my mothers doctor wants her to call the EMS . . . .

As many of you know I think Jannich is one of the sweetest people I know,even though I have never met her in person.She is in my thoughts and prayers.I will not call her until she is feeling better,but I will do my best to let others know she is ill.A lot of people who care may not see this post....I didn't until this afternoon.Thank you for thinking of me on this card.I will also include all of your names on anything I send.If someone does talk to her,please keep me informed!!

You are so rightr, Lynn! She is a sweetheart. This was so sad to hear, but with all of our prayers, may she make her recovery in Godspeed.

Gail, you have done a wonderful thing today. I know you wanted those flowers sent asap so she could enjoy them and know that her DG family cares and is praying for her. I appreciate you putting my name on the list (I think you did) and the others too. Whether we are new to tihis forum or not it doesn't take long to love and appreciate Jan and I am sure everyone would have wanted their name on the card. I feel that I should be paying for a part of the order. D-mail me when you get a chance and let me know what I need to send to you. It shouldn't all be on your shoulders :)

I just heard about Jannich from Phoebe over at FB Farm Town. I hope she will be OK. I sure will pray for here. I have become addicted to virtual gardening and spend a lot of time over on facebook. Will have to check in here more ofter.


Gail, if you talk to Jannich, please send her my love and tell her that I'm praying for her quick recovery. I want to see her back here on DG.

I just talked to jannich again this morning. She sounds so weak and they are giving her massive does of antibiotics through an IV. She said they told her she might get out on Tuesday but no promises.............Bless her heart........there is no one to water her plants at home.........but I guess that is the least of her problems right now.......

I did tell her how much everyone missed her and loved her.........and that everyone was praying for her recovery............I promised her I would not call more than once a day..........I asked her if people could call her and she said she was too tired to take phone calls............and I respect that.

She is really sick.........so, everyone keep up your good thoughts and prayers for her.

If they are talking to her about discharge anytime soon, that is hopeful. I am thinking about Jan a lot! Wow do I miss her! Wish someone could be there with her....

Nichole (Syrumani) has been helping me get organized all day.............I am so in debt to her!! Her husband is delightful, too...................

Got a call from Jan to say that she was going home late this afternoon..................so happy for her. Only in a small town would be EM people be kind enough to go visit Jan in the hospital every day and................go to her house to bring to the hospital her car so she would have a way to get home.......

Glory Glory.............I know how happy she must be to be back home..........

Thank the Lord. If the doctors released Jan to go home, she must be doing better. I'm sure she will still need some recuperating time, so I hope she takes it easy and gets lots of rest.

I am so sorry I didn't see this sooner, it's been a while since I checked the main page..I just click on my home page and look at the active threads I have been posting in, maybe check the main page once a week or so to see if there is anything new.
