Has anyone ever tried this? I read an article in Garden Gate that gives instructions on how to store Dahlia bulbs by dipping them in wax. I did try it and it seems to work pretty well. I started thinking why couldn't you do the same thing with other bulbs. So I have tried it on my glads and various other bulbs including a bunch of tulips that I didn't get planted before the ground froze. I guess I'll find out if it works when I finally get them planted next year. If anyone has ever tried this, please let me know. Also, I have canna's for the first time and am not clear on how to store the tubers. I need help.
Storing bulbs
i store all my canna and dahlias in the cellar in boxes.
i saw you should put the dahlias in sawdust....?
