This (I'm assuming female) spider was around 2 inches in length, one of the biggest Ive seen in a very long time. seen some of these before but never near anywhere as large, or in my house for that matter.
any info would be great.
thanks.
CLOSED: What spider is this?
Based on the large eye shine ans the lack of visible spinnerets, this could be a large female wolf spider (family Lycosidae, such as a Schizocosa sp. - see http://tinyurl.com/mxfe79 for an example.
It appears to be a large wolf spider or huntsman spider. Possibly.
that was my first thought, wanted to be sure it wasnt deadly or anything. thanks guys
