oh no, evert it isn't that way at all, it's just that when we want to say something there is no one around??? ha ha aw comon now chris and minischnuz are you still up???

I was in bed but am up again. I haven't been able to sleep well at all. I lived in NYC as a kid, not very far north of the World Trade Center. We were perpetually made aware that we were vulnerable to a nuclear attack. We had bomb drills. A teacher would hold up a red string or ring a little bell and we would dive on the floor and pull our desks down over us, as if this would protect us in a nuclear holocaust. All this did was give us nightmares which I still have to this day. Now it's worse and I am having panic attacks (never had those before in my life).
You see, I know that Russia claims to have lost about 40 suitcase atomic bombs but in truth, they sold them. I am afraid Bin Laden has about 20 of them. So no matter how we approach this "war on terrorism", if he retaliates with those, then the whole world loses. I think Khadaffi and Hussein have been plotting with him and building arms up for years. And since they have no caring for the sanctity of life, they won't mind using whatever they have.
I know a friend who has taken lessons on how to survive fallout. You should stay underground for at least 2 weeks and then only come out for ever-increasing short periods of time, making sure to shower and wash clothes carefully. The other thing recommended is to take kelp tablets. The iodine in them helps counter the effects of fallout.

Ok,Attention everyone. Mark this on your calendar.
The chatroom is open on Thursday evenings only from 7p.m.-10pm. Eastern Standard Time.
The chatroom will be open every Thursday, unless otherwise noted by Dave himself. He usually makes a post about it on the Dave's Garden Forum. So every Thursday evening expect the chatroom to be open unless otherwise noted.
You gardeners in other countries, sorry but you will have to figure out what time that would be in your time zone......I haven't a clue!
