August blooms

I thought we had a "daily blooms" thread like in the DL forum. Oh well, I started a monthly since I don't have that many. Please share your blooms with us. Here is my Hilo Beauty, the most reliable bloomer I have. I adore dark red flowers.

The bloom is so high though that I can't smell it.

here is a view of the tree, potted and placed against a brick wall. Gets at least 6 hrs of full sun. Hard to see, but to the left of HB is Scott Pratt which hasn't bloomed yet. Another beauty w/ dark red flowers.

Here is my Bud's Sally - these blooms are very large.

This bloom on my dwarf Singapore Pink has been there like forever! here is a view of the whole plant, barely 1'x1'. A local nursery had a DSP that was about 5'x5' and it was a showstopper. They wanted $400 and still, it was gone in a week.

Hetty gave me some suggestions for not necessarily dwarf but very compact plumies, I'm ready for more of these small pretties. Still looking for the one that speaks to me.

that's something else on my list, Hetty, a very large flowered plumie.

That's a gorgeous DPS you have there! So healthy looking. And I love it in that urn.
I splurged and paid $ 250 for a sizeable one a few years ago. It's getting very big now but so dense, just wonderful.

Here is another large bloomed one, Charlotte Ebert. This one is also very fragrant.

First an Obtusa Leaf, but the flowers are a little different than a normal Singapore.

No it is full size, it is a cutting I got from a lady in Yuma Valley. This is the Yuma Valley Sing I have posted before(no pics right now)...but now I am not sure that it is a true 'Singapore', but another obtusa leaf.

Might be worth to get Luc's opinion...

Davie you are rocking with those seedlings, wow!! They are all great but the ruffled pink (more of a salmon color?) is my favorite.
Where is the Rain Star from? looks a bit like my Allegro.

Thanks Hetty! I got the Rain Star it from Evelyn from Ebay. She got that particular one from Maui. It is a huge flower, 4"+. Nice sweet smell. The seedling is a vibrant pink/salmon, the picture looks very true to the color.
