I vote for October as well, although at this point I will be defending at some point in early October. I am hoping that I will be all prepared so that I can attend. September I know will be way too busy for me.

When a person has a business it is not expected that they give their product away. BTW my two hostas are covered up by the gingers (only way they can survive the sun) and they are blooming. Yoooohoooo. First time I ever had any live and these are from last year.

East TX RU is set for Oct 17th
and yes there is a typo there right now but I have put out a call for help to get it corrected
Just an FYI so we are all on the same page as to the RU's for fall in Texas :)
These are shell gingers that Randy brought from Houston last year. The grow and bloom with little or help. I do have the shampoo ginger but the heat seems to have stunted them this year. No blooms from them so far. I don't think I have anything rare. Do have two kinds of variegated but bought both of them from HD.
Hello Everyone!!! It seems we have a scheduling problem.
We have 8 people who want or can do September 19th, that date is available but they go fast.
We have 9 people that would like October 3rd, but that day is already rented.
We can do it on Sunday October 4th that is available, we usually start at 12 noon to give people time.
So we can do Sept 19th
or October 4th.
Please vote right away as it may be gone very soon, we need to reserve it tomorrow.

For what it is worth was looking at a calender the 4th is 1st Monday trade days for some, the next weekend is Columbus Day, many will travel over a long weekend.
Shoot we should ditch the families and have a giant Thanksgiving trade/swap LOL

I was afraid we would lose that one too.

Kim, I doubt if I will ever remember which thread it was on. I was talking to my or Sedric's Vet about you. I think she was impressed with school you were attending. Anyway, she said to to tell you if you decide to come to Dallas ... to come see her/them. Anyway I was going to use you as a second opinion . lol I got one online and she was very informative ... its where I learned Sedric had Diabetes. I was also telling her that Sedric continues to flood the litter box and his face just lay in the water bowl.She told me that Sedric was not getting enough insulin. LOL I told Dr Effie that I READ on the internet that he needed more insulin ... I dont dare tell her I pay a online Vet fourteen dollars to find this out. Today she tells me the insulin is too old ... I started a new bottle and took Sedric up to five units.... and he has not peed all evening. :)
