CLOSED: Worm eating wild rose bush

Marinette, WI(Zone 4b)

Does anyone have an idea as to what would strip a wild rose bush of all it's leaves?

Sorry, I couldn't get a picture of it, but this is what it did to the poor rose bush.
I can tell you that the worm is green.

Hi Kassy. You could have sawfly larva. They really like wild roses.

Thanks moom, that looks like them.
I just read how to get rid of them.........Sawflies are best controlled when young. Several options exist for control. A physical tactic is to simply pick them off by hand.

I may have more treats for the chickens if they will eat them :)
