What is your best performing plant this season

Thomaston, CT

Thanks, Andy---it's a great looking tree, berries & all--- Nice coleus photos, as well---I have 2 planted & they are just OK---I bought them late, not many varieties left.

Troy, NY(Zone 5b)

with all the rain we have had it is the hydrangea. My mopheads are on steroids!

Westbrook, CT(Zone 6a)

DW wanted some plants that would attract hummingbirds. The nursery expert recommended Cuphea. We put two in a big pot visible from the kitchen window and the prophecy "if you plant it, they will come!" was fulfilled. Only problem: difficult to locate flowers nearby that blend with their traffic-cone orange color.

Buffalo, NY(Zone 6a)

I will ask my neighbor what his arborist told him what the disease was which has infected his crabapple.

It looks like a fungus, but I think it is something else. I don't right recall.

That sure is a nice one, Andy!

All those coleus look great, too!

South Hamilton, MA

dwarf aruncus--this plant has been increasing well over the last 3 yrs. yrs. This is especially important as the sources from which I bought it no longer carries it. It is a low growing plant perfect for its corner location.
