I've seen a few of these and DH tells me he's seen a few and their eggs. What are they? This one decided on our screen to the slider is the place for her babies.

This is a stink bug (Hemiptera/Heteroptera: Pentatomidae). This family includes predators as well as pests, but as a general rule, green species such as this one usually are pests - see http://tinyurl.com/no4hy8
