CLOSED: Is this Anasa armigera?

Indianapolis, IN(Zone 5b)

I saw two squash bug entries in bug files and I think it's this one. But maybe there are more kinds of squash bug than we have in that database.

I'm vaguely recalling, too, a thread I saw where someone mentioned that there's a true bug that looks very similar to a squash bug, but it's considered a beneficial. Ringing any bells with that one? I don't want to kill the wrong thing. This one's dead, though.

Here are the eggs I found on the same plant. They're wet because I just sprayed the leaves with baking soda and water for powdery mildew.

This is what I'm seeing in image searches for squash bug eggs, so I'm fairly confident on this one. Just wanted to check with the experts.

Squash bugs (Anasa tristis) indeed what you have - see http://tinyurl.com/oufp7r - I do a daily patrol of my squash patch, killing any adults and nymphs I come across as well as crushing all egg masses that I find.

Thanks!
