found this huge spider it looks very mean please can someone tell me what it is thanks and if its dangerous

This spider is in the family Pisauridae(fishing/dock/nursery web spiders). Specifically, it appears to be a dark fishing spider (Dolemedes tenebrosus) - see

This widespread species can reach quite a large size, and thus attract attention, but other than being able to inflict a painful bite if mishandled, it basically is harmless to humans. Like their cousins, the wolf spiders, these are active hunters that do not spin a capture web.
