Just this AM I spotted a few of these critters in my pretty bean blossoms. What are they and should I be concerned?
CLOSED: Bugs in the bean blossoms
it kind of looks like a bug in the leaf-footed bug family but someone else will know for sure.
this is a plant bug in the family Miridae, apparently in the genus Neurocolpus - see http://tinyurl.com/nuajw3 for an example.
Thanks suunto for this ID. I checked it out at several sources and it seems right on. I don't seem to have a major infestation so I guess I'll just ignore them unless they become more widespread.
