I've never seen this spider around my place, I live in the Netherlands.
Mostly we have cross spiders, long legged spiders and house spiders.
But this kind I've never seen, he is dead on this picture I suppose.
It's quite small, 1-2 cm.
Here is the photo:
What Spider is This ? [Never seen this in The Netherlands]
Whatever this is, it is/was a very fat and thus presumably gravid female. It might be a hacklemesh weaver (family Amaurobiidae) - see http://tinyurl.com/r6u65b, but diagnostic characters cannot be seen on this image (at least by me...), so I am not confident of an identification.
I got more pictures also from it's bottom ( has two yellow dots )
I will post them tomorrow can you give me then more info afterwards ?
Thanks,
Mendel
I will try. Also, a close-up of the eye pattern might help as well. I will be offline much of the day tomorrow, attending our county farm market where I am a vendor.
