Who is this on my echinacea? Should I be worried?
CLOSED: Who is this on my echinacea?
This is a long-horned wood-boring beetle (Coleoptera: Cerambycidae) in the subfamily Lepturinae (flower longhorns). Specifically, it appears to be Judolia (formerly Anoplodera) cordifera - see http://tinyurl.com/nsub8y for an image. No need to worry, it will not harm the plants.
Suunto, you are amazing! Thanks so much.
