Red Duck

Poland, ME

A friend was asking me if I had ever seen or heard of this lily. Perhaps it is a local favorite, but it is new to me! Has anyone ever heard of it?

I would have thought it was Red Dutch, misheard or misspelled, and it does look similar, but not quite a match to mine. Seems the red and yellow are brighter on Red Dutch. Do you know if that's an accurate color representation? The shape of the blooms does look like a match.

Does any one have a picture of Red Dutch for comparison?

Ahhhh... I think you are correct Gemini! That must be it. Thank you for helping me out. It never came to my mind... what little there is left of it.

If it has to do with language, I can easily slip off the edge . . .
