I am officially a Master Gardener

I finished my hours by participating in the Ask a Master Gardener booth today!!!!! WHOOOOHOOOOO!!!!!!!!

I'm doing my happy snoopy dance! I wanted to share it with my DG family first!!!!!

I am still a noobie when it comes to flowers and trees and the like....vegetables are my thing. I think that is why I love gardening....always something new to learn!

Congratulations what a wonderful achievement. I have been hoping to start MG classes but my travel schedule has always interfered. This year our plans have changed and I was thinking about calling down to the extension office and checking out the program. Think I will do that today.

Holly....do it! You will love it. You get to meet so many interesting people. Bonnie...I still consider myself a noobie especially in the area of trees, shrubs and flowers....don't know much about those at all. :o)

Wow noobie Congratulations!!! No matter how much we learn in Gardening there is always something noo (LOL) to learn. If we knew it all it would be like trying to put the mind of God in a Dixie cup (our mind) It can't be done. There are always new challenges, new virus's and we always find wonderful new plants to learn about.

I hope one day to become a Master Gardener but my first dream is to go to school for Photography. I don't know when I will but maybe in the next year.

Awwww thanks Sandy for the kind words and I love you right back! Now....let's get thos applications for photography school so that you can start your dream. Take baby steps and one day you will look up and be a photographer.

My journey as an MG started with me thinking about it for three years. Then one day I got the application and filled it out. Didn't think about it because I knew if I did I would find an excuse not to do it.

Next thing I knew I was in classes and now here I am! Take that first step, Sandy and I will take it with you!!! Remember, tomorrow is not promised.

Thanks sweetie. I do need to look into how to apply for a Grant now that I know they have the classes. If I could get enough grant money I could get a better camera. I love mine but it doesn't take macro pictures. And my hands shake and I know there are cameras that help in that way. I think anyway. Soon I will look into it. Right now I am working with my plants and potting them in bigger pots as it is so hot and they need the extra space. I am adding the water crystals from the co-op before. That will help alot.
