Dave, I have to tell you how impressed I am with your beautiful photos. I wonder if you send any to wildlife/birding magazines or publications - they are better than most I see!
I have enjoyed each and every photo and reading about your birds - thanks!

More Bluebird pictures
More incredible photos Dave! I, too, have enjoyed each and every photo-and reading about them. They do belong in a magazine or book!
Thank you both. I do enjoy hosting the birds so much, and being able to take close up pictures of them is a real bonus.
The sun was out today and I tried to catch Papa in the air again. Here are a few from today. If they look like yesterday's, blame it on Papa. He seems to like to perch on that one particular branch.
My gosh, the way you catch them in flight is amazing. I love the first picture of papa on the perch, he has such attitude, looks as if he is a bit ticked off and ready to kick some butt, kind of like the Clint Eastwood of BlueBirds.
That is what it so great about your pictures, they are very expressive.
"Come to think of it, he does resemble Clint a little."
I think it's his eyebrows, the "go ahead make my day" expression.
Yes, in that last pic he is clearly saying that famous invitation line!!
wing waves to all,

You never disappoint, Dave. Stunning shots.
It's wonderful to wake up to your Blue birds thread Dave. Papa, may I call Stepdad papa? Or Clint? lol. However, I like young Clint so very much when he bows.
Dave, if you are not already, you should be getting these photos published, share them with the world, not just us DG people. You should make a calendar or a BlueBird coffee table book, greeting cards, magnets, the works!
Good Morning everyone. Glad you liked yesterday's shots. Not much activity yet but I did catch Papa (yes, Lily, I think we can call him that) as he brought what looks like a wasp for breakfast. Whatever it was, it was still wiggling. The nestlings are eight days old today, so they should have their eyes opening soon. The light is still poor for pictures. Much better in the afternoon.
Dave
There hasn't been one of your pictures that I haven't drooled over Dave. Absolutely adorable photos!!
wow, the first shot caught them in mid movement, perfect!
Great action shots Dave!
