Can anyone tell me about this spider? She was hiding under a rose bloom in my garden.

it's kind of hard to tell but it might be a type of crab spider.

This is a crab spider (family Thomisidae); specifically, it looks like a goldenrod crab spider, Misumena vatia - see http://tinyurl.com/kjn9jv for an image. To a limited degree, this spider can change its color to match its background.
