Really sick and twisted, no explanation

Birmingham, United Kingdom

I don't know what has happened here but these ones have been really sick and twisted right from the start, all my friends saw it but I never did. I thought there might be some hope and tried to cultivate it and make it happy but it looks like it never worked, not even my best seaweed extract was good enough. It's ipomoea tricolor and never grown or developed and from the beginning been Now the stems are in the air and the leaves are twisting around themselves like little claws It's only these ones, perhaps it's the soil they were brought up in or all the manure. I'm just glad it's nothing special just something dead common. This is not something I would like to see spreading and infecting other morning glories and making them sick and twisted as well. Does anyone who is an expert here know what could have gone wrong?

Here is another one, at one stage it was strong and had a strangle hold, now it is slowly losing it's grip.

looks like heat scorch. like sun got to the babies before they got accustomed to the weather also looks like mine when the neighbors cat sprays it. i only lose mine to heat drought and cat spray.

even when i have mites they come back after being treated.

just read where use used manure. i never never use anything other then miracle grow or bloom boost on mine. manure kills them on me every time. to high and not enough break down in it for mgs. my two cents anyways hehe

Perhaps all the manure made them sick then. The rest of them all seem ok, it's just these ones are little runts, they always have been. Maybe it's something to do with the genetics, you get things like this if they are a product of in-breeding. Look at the one on the far right and enlarge, it looks almost like a hand on the end of the stem or a cotyledon, weird? Maybe it's some sort of drift from weedkiller, or it could be cats as only this tray was affected.
