This is what it was...sunsmile lavender...pretty enough in it's own right but I've been waiting a while for a true blue...Can't help but wonder how many sellers use photo shop like I did!!

I always spot "true sky blue plants" even surfinia and when they bloom they are navy blue or purple etc.

Even more worrying there are people out there and unscrupulous traders who not only photo shop images but steal them then photoshop them and pass them off as there own, even make multiple blooms or reverse images. That's why it's important to water mark them. These people have no shame..

BTW the seed you sent me has developed into nice strong healthy plants, hope the things I sent you are growing strong!

Ronnie - If there is a buck to made off of dishonesty, then you have to be leery of some of those ebay sellers.

rareseedman - There are probably 2-3 unscrupulous traders for every 10 that are honest. Greed stops at nothing ...

Becky what really bothers me was that it wasn't eBay it was a reputable seed company. If it is a matter of there not really being a blue one and it reverted back to the original color OK but sell as that then with a few pictures of what it may be.

Ronnie - Oh my! Well, seems the commercial seed companies do what they please. It is like the seeds I bought last year that were supposed to be Flying Saucers and wound up being Blue Star. There wasn't a single FS seed in the whole packet! Sheesh! It is pretty disgusting, isn't it?! :-(

What's sad is that you can't give an evaluation any more by the time you find out that you were tricked.

If that happens on ebay, you can file a complaint. But if it happens with a commercial seed company, I don't know. I guess you could email, call, or send them a snail mail complaint.
